I voted. 🙂 Nice scantrons so no worries about chads or no paper trails.

I treated myself to some frivolity around downtown while I was out voting. They apparently have segway tours in downtown now…I don’t think most furs could afford it or I’d say we should do that.

BTW, if you haven’t voted yet here is the league of women voter’s guide to the candidates. This is in my experience the most balanced guide for candidates in the local and national elections.

Someone, without playing greenpeace because I’m clearly not a member of the green party, explain to me why Obama planned on having electricity prices skyrocket? Yeah I know it’s a GOP last cat out of the bag trick…But it’s a damned good one for me given I already pay $150-180 a month in electricity and that’s WITHOUT the arcades, catalyst 5k, and about 30 other things I’d love to leave on all the time. Reference with audio so yes I know the context.

People wanting to replace SL with one of the opensim replacement I think you have a while to wait yet.

the physics engine has a LOT to be desired at the moment. Everything is calculated as cubes, which is bad. There doesn’t seem to be a fully working economy in the options yet, the location search is at a very base level of functionality etc. It would work well if you’re into actually doing development but it’s not a functional solution for replacement yet.

Well after toying around for an hour or two I now have an island on osgrid. It’s not much to look at and I haven’t figured out all the asset issues yet but at least the physics sort of works. :p

There isn’t much content on osgrid yet and for furry avatars I can only seem to find a fox or a kitsune…bleh no kitties. too bad there isn’t an easy way to move all my assetts over. :p
