I ordered some custom bases for my Terrans from Corsec Engineering.

As soon as I had them I wanted to make them prettier for display purposes and to test out a technique that I liked the idea of.
I masked off the sides and the tops of the bases and them taped them together in a long strip.
I then sprinkled white to make a star field on the base, followed by thin lines of blue mixed with white and then just pure blue.
I then repeated this with red and white followed by pure red.
Once those had set I sprayed a solid black on the bottom and then sealed it.
I’m currently looking at options to put on the bottom, I’ve tested duct tape and I’m currently looking at adhesive felt to see how that works out.
