It’s late, so I may not be coherent.

Guardian helped me troubleshoot my car. It appears that oil is leaking into my cylinder from the pcv valve, I replaced that but it appears there is still oil leaking into it….I’ll have to figure something out.

I saw doomsday…I enjoyed it for the simplicity and obvious attempts to look like a 70s/80s post apocolyptic movie.

the pwm module for the robot came in. I’ve been doing the conversions in my math to make it work with the robot….So far I’m getting slightly better performance out of my servoes which is nice, (actually able to use a full 20ms duty cycle for once helps a lot). I haven’t integrated sesnor checks yet to see if it helps free up the processor as I hope it will.

I’d had plans to help fuzz I thought this weekend but I never saw a time posted. :/ Oh well.

time for sleepies. Hope all is well.

I’m going to drag max out to Goerge A. romero’s Diary of the dead at the angelika on mockingbird and 75 at 5:45pm if anyone else wants to tag along. I know it’s short notice but I’m feeling impulsive. :p

After a few months of no server I have one again and my crappy photo gallery is back. This makes me happy. It even includes the year late copy of photos from scarby that storm took. :p

Well the Angelika has Diary of the Dead. Who wants to go watch a zombie flick with me?

in unrelated news….My robot now has a sonar for finding its way around.

Does anyone happen to have a BDM pod I could borrow for a day or two?

I’m finally biting the bullet and getting a new chip for my robot projects. The problem is I want to be using version 2.1.x of dbug12 on my older M68evb912b32 and run it in BDM mode when needed. Of course since this thing has barely been powered on since somewhere around 2000 it’s using version 2.0.2 of the dbug1`2 software. I’ve gotten the newer .s19 file from freescale who apparently now owns thie chipset rather than motorola. But because it uses some of the 2k bootloader memory space I can’t use the serial port to upgrade dbug12. so….In order to get it updated and all healthy to hopefully be able to play nice with the NanoCore12DXC32 I’m going to soon be owning, I need a bdm pod. :p

On a random side note, I was going to try to get a MC9S12NE64 but apparently it doesn’t like the rather pricey board I want to put it on.

On the bright side of things. If it all works out retard bot will soon have a tracked little brother who should be much more capable of taking care of himself.

EDIT: further reading seems to indicate that the MC68HC912B32 isn’t new enough to support the 9S12C32 chip that’s on th e NanoCore12DXC32 even if up update dbug-12. Which means I also need to buy a new bdm pod….Great -.-

Well I had a wonderful birthday party. I saw Kevin, Storm, David, Max, Fai, Sharra, Warlockd, Kitra, Guardian, Rakka, Patrick all showed up to wish me a wonderful 30th. I had a lot of fun drinking and playing games. Turns out I’m really bad at pump it up now (screwed up my knee something fierce but I think it’ll be OK with a day or two of rest), but I still rock at one handed LA machine guns (thanks david for indulging my gun love). guardian has improved a lot at pump it up since I last saw him play. I got a pretty blue striped scarf from fai (Yay!) and an R4 for the nintendo DS from Warlock, cakeses from Sharra, dinner on guardian and lots and lots of hugses from friends (I enjoyed the hugses. :D)

Over all things were good for me on my birthday. It’s been a nice change for me from last year’s. Thanks everyone. 🙂
